AMY K.

CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT

I assist our doctors with patient care, do lab work, keep our sterilization room in order, and help our hygiene team with patients and coronal polishing. The most gratifying aspect of my job is knowing that we help patients feel better about themselves, not just by improving their smiles, but by improving their lives. I love being a part of such a fun team, made up of good people who get along very well.

I am married to David and have three children and three grandsons. I enjoy spending time with grandsons and friends, going shopping, and attending exercise classes with my coworkers!

DENTAL ASSISTANT

I attended Buckeye Career Center for my dental assistant training and joined Dr. Dunlap’s team in 2011. I work alongside our doctors to assist with patient care. My goal is to help patients have a comfortable dental experience while making their smiles look amazing. I love it here because we have a great team and we work great together!

I am married with three children, Caley, Raeya, and Carson, and have two cats. When I’m not in the office, I love spending time with my family.

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

I earned my Associate’s Degree in dental hygiene from West Liberty University 2006 and joined Coshocton Dentistry in 2010. Ensuring my patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health is my top priority. I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level while providing encouragement to reach their goals. Our office has a great teamwork-centered environment where we’re all dedicated to providing high quality care.

I was born in Coshocton County where I continue to live. Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my two dogs, and reading.

EXPANDED FUNCTIONS DENTAL ASSISTANT

I started working in the dental field in 2002 and earned my EFDA certification at OSU 2007. Since joining the Coshocton Dentistry team in 2008, I’ve really enjoyed being a part of this team—we have a lot of fun! The office is always full of smiles, especially when our patients see their restored smiles.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband Scott, daughter Miley, and our dog.

LINDSAY

DENTAL HYGIENIST

I earned my Associate’s degree in dental hygiene at West Liberty in 2004 and joined the team in 2016. I really enjoy getting to meet people and establishing relationships with them while providing education and improving their oral health. Our team always puts our patients’ needs first and works hard to be compassionate and understanding.

I live in West Lafayette with my husband of 11 years, Josh. We have two children Jace and Jaelyn, a dog, and three cats. In addition to working at Coshocton Dentistry, I teach dance at Jody’s Dance in West Lafayette.

RUTHANN

CLINICAL COORDINATOR

I attended Midland College of Commerce and have more than 40 years of hands-on experience in dentistry. Since 2000, I’ve helped to maintain current procedure guidelines, equipment reports, and infection control practices here at Coshocton Dentistry. Every day presents new challenges and we meet them by working as a team.

I’ve been married to my husband Harvey for 46 years. We have a son Michael who is a fashion designer in New York and a rescue cat named Zander that keeps life interesting. In my free time, I enjoy quilting, Bible study, and spending long weekends doing something fun and different with my husband.

SAMANTHA

CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT

I completed my dental assisting training from Buckeye Career Center in 2015 and joined Dr. Dunlap’s team as an assistant that same year. It is so fulfilling to help patients make positive changes in their health and see their reactions when we transform their smiles. The best part of working here is that we all love to laugh and have fun!

Recently married, I love spending time with my family and playing with my puppies. I enjoy running and lifting with my husband and many outdoor activities.

RENEE

SCHEDULING COORDINATOR

I began working in dentistry more than 40 years ago and have been a part of this team since 2002. I am responsible for all the business aspects of the practice including helping patients get the most of their insurance benefits and keeping our schedule busy and smooth. We have a great staff that is very professional and strives to meet our patients’ needs while making their dental experience as comfortable as possible.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, exercising, cooking, and watching the Cleveland Cavaliers.

CARLA

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

I earned a Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in 2000 and came to work at Coshocton Dentistry that same year. I enjoy establishing strong relationships with my patients, helping each achieve optimal oral health. I provide a range of preventive dental care, including cleanings, and educate patients on ways to keep their smile clean and healthy. Ours is a fun, professional office, where we care about each other and our patients.

When not working, I enjoy time with my husband Jimmy and two sons, Cohen and Slade. We’re active in Scouting. I like reading and enjoy traveling, too.
