Clear Aligners are a series of thin and transparent aligners that gradually move your teeth into a predetermined computer-generated position. These aligners can help people with all different types of tooth issues, whether it is tooth crowding, gaps in between your teeth, or an overbite.
For example, this patient had crowded teeth, and as a result, their teeth were rotated and not straight. With Clear Aligners, we were able to give them a perfect smile in just twelve months!
Patients who have gaps in between their teeth know that they aren't just unsightly, but they can also cause problems with speech. However, these issues can be resolved quickly and painlessly with Clear Aligners. This patient got their perfect smile in just ten months!
The third example we have today is a patient with a severe overbite. Even though this was an extreme overbite, we were able to straighten their teeth and adjust their bite in just fourteen months.
The treatment time will always vary depending on the person, but most treatment times are between twelve and sixteen months!
Not only do they not take years upon years to work, but they are also extremely comfortable. Unlike traditional braces, they are removable so that you can eat whatever you would like without getting it stuck in your teeth!
Though you can take them out, they should be worn for at least 20 to 22 hours a day so that they work better and faster.
We have found that most of our patients who use clear aligners are patients didn't have the ability to get braces when they were younger, or they had braces and their teeth have since relapsed.
However, we are happy to have you in for a complimentary consultation to make sure you're a good candidate for our clear aligners because there are some qualifiers. First off, your teeth must be healthy. We would not be able to use clear aligners on unhealthy teeth as it may further any issues you may be having.
If you have always wanted a to get rid of that overbite, gap tooth, or just a straighter smile in general, contact us at Coshocton Dentistry today!
