Painless Tooth Extractions & More

At Coshocton Dentistry, we understand the anxiety that surrounds the procedure of tooth extraction. Our team, led by our experienced Dr. Dunlop, aims to make the process as comfortable as possible for you.

A key part of our approach is to alleviate anxiety through various methods of sedation. These range from oral and IV sedation to the use of nitrous oxide. Prior to the extraction, we apply a topical jelly to numb the area, making the process even more comfortable. The feedback we often receive from our patients is that the whole experience is quick and usually not as scary as initially thought.

Moreover, we always strive to retain your natural teeth as much as we can. However, there are times when extractions are necessary for your oral health. In these cases, we take a forward-looking approach, often discussing options such as dental implants. These implants can sometimes be placed simultaneously with the extraction, or we can prepare the space for a future implant.

At Coshocton Dentistry, we take pride in our patient-centric philosophy:

  • Comfort-first approach: We prioritize your comfort and minimize anxiety with our choice of sedation methods.
  • Focus on preservation: We strive to preserve natural teeth for as long as possible.
  • Forward-thinking solutions: We provide future-oriented dental solutions, such as implants, at the time of extraction when required.

Ultimately, we aim to ensure that your experience at our clinic is a positive one. To learn more about our services or to book an appointment, visit coshoctondentistry.com. Trust us with your dental health – we'll ensure you leave our office with a satisfied smile!
