Teeth Bleaching at the Dentist

There are so many products on the market these days for teeth whitening, but you'll find that the best way to get a whiter, brighter smile is at the dentist!

Teeth Whitening v. Bleaching

Many people that want to get a whiter smile opt for over the counter teeth whitening kits from local drug stores. However, these kits can only provide a certain level of whitening, and sometimes they increase tooth sensitivity.

At Coshocton Dentistry, we use a method called teeth bleaching to help our patients achieve that whiter and brighter look faster, and without the sensitivity that they experience with the alternative.

Teeth whitening is an external color corrector that can take some time to work and only last for so long, whereas teeth bleaching can help you get your teeth whiter faster and last much longer.

Bleaching your teeth not only whitens the surface of your teeth, but it takes it one step further to the second layer (dentin layer) of your teeth.

How does Teeth Bleaching Work?

We use peroxide to penetrate the first two layers of your teeth to provide you with that white smile. During your appointment, we will give you a bleaching kit that you can use at home. We educate you on how this process works and teach you how to use the peroxide and trays for when you go home.
